Abstract

Employee well-being and satisfaction have emerged as critical components for organisational sustainability, particularly in labour-intensive industries such as manufacturing. There is a lack of empirical data on the efficacy of corporate wellness initiatives in enhancing productivity, health, and job satisfaction in the manufacturing sector, despite their increasing popularity. To close this gap, this study employs a quantitative approach to examine the impact of corporate wellness programs on employee outcomes. A survey of 300 workers from various manufacturing companies was conducted to collect data, which was then analyzed using ordinal regression and Spearman's correlation to examine four related hypotheses. The findings reveal a strong positive correlation between corporate wellness programs and employee productivity (ρ = 0.667, p < 0.01), and job satisfaction (ρ = 0.679, p < 0.01). Furthermore, ordinal regression analysis confirmed a statistically significant positive impact of wellness initiatives on employee well-being (Nagelkerke R² = 0.403, p < 0.001). An integrated model also confirmed the interconnected influence of wellness programs on productivity, well-being, and job satisfaction (Nagelkerke R² = 0.635, p < 0.001). These results validate the effectiveness of wellness programs in enhancing workplace satisfaction and performance. According to the study's findings, corporate wellness initiatives can significantly increase employee satisfaction and organisational efficiency when they are customised and backed by management. However, issues including program fit, engagement, and expense need to be addressed. To maximize application and results, future studies should investigate causal pathways, customization strategies, and longitudinal effects in diverse industrial contexts.
