Abstract

Most start-ups work in high-pressure, fast-paced settings, with the nature of value communication influencing all aspects of employee motivation of employees to decision-making, performance, and identity of the organization. The impacts of cascading of values include helping in shaping culture, enhancing alignment, and promoting long-term growth. The results of the study showed that employees rate the communication, clarity, integration, and monitoring of the company value statements as generally weak to moderate. Storytelling is one of the core tactics to execute abstract principles into common lived experiences on boarding, town halls, and recognition programs. The effective challenges faced by organizations while cascading values are inconsistency, interpretation gaps, and operational pressures. The cascading of value statements can be improved in the Indian scenario by longitudinal analysis and industry specific comparisons.
